Jess Irish.
They/Them.
Therapist.

Every person deserves to feel heard, seen and treated with unconditional positive regard in a supportive environment. Fostering a warm and dynamic relationship that encourages awareness, introspection, and compassion is vital in my approach as a therapist. I work collaboratively with clients, couples, or polycules to explore their life goals and aspirations, and together we create workable and sustainable steps on that path. I strive to see people in their entirety, honor their thoughts, systems, and feelings, and avoid pathologizing emotional struggles. In a society where oppression is an everyday experience for many, I respect your journey and will work as a guide in helping you heal, evolve, transform, and thrive.

About

Jess Irish

I have a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling; my training has centered around working with individuals, partners, family relationships, and group dynamics. My Bachelor’s degree in Psychology focused on gender studies and human sexuality, which I have utilized to do community building, workshop creation, and education within the LGBTQIAA+, polyamory, and kink communities. I work with folks seeking therapy around anxiety and depression, gender identity and presentation, polyamory and kink lifestyles, sexuality, intimacy, intersectionality, and life transitions. I fight for equality and acceptance for all body types and sizes, neurodiverse awareness and empowerment, and practicing anti-racism while acknowledging my privilege as a white individual.
